The event commenced with a welcome note by Ms. Malahat Awan, Director, Alumni Relations, Resource Mobilization and Corporate Relations, IBA. She shed light on the legacy that Dr. Husain has left behind and how he transformed the IBA. Esteemed speakers including, Dr. Husain; Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director, IBA, Dr. Syed Noman ul Haq, Dean, UMT, Lahore and Mr. Sibtain Naqvi, book author, were invited to the stage. The book illustrates different dimensions of Dr. Husain's prowess as an exceptional economist, reformist and educationist. He later attained a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Melbourne with research that focused on the interrelationship between drug control, security and development. Farah Hussain Biography

As a result of this decision more than 100 P.C.O Judges were relieved. Mr. Razvi was Petitioner in the said case being President of the S.H.C.B.A. as well appeared and argued the case. As a Judge of the High Court, he has to his credit more than 300 hundred reported cases in the various fields including but not limited to Civil, Criminal, Labour, Constitution and Intellectual property laws which is a remarkable achievement. Attendees included the IBA faculty, students and alumni, media, members from the academia, corporate sector and diplomatic corps. In Myanmar where he served from 1996 to 2006, he was instrumental in developing, negotiating and managing a three-tier programme to assist the Autonomous Wa cease-fire group phase out opium cultivation. The Foundation has also constructed a Hydrotherapy Swimming Pool and a Speech Therapy Department at the Rising Sun Institute Mughalpura Campus for Special Children.
